  • Overview

    Candidate is responsible for and not limited to; develop simulation models based on process layout, reviewing plant machine downtime datasets to ensure accuracy. Validate the system to its designed JPH. Conduct buffer analysis, carrier analysis. Analyze system throughput bottleneck and make design improvement recommendations. Candidate would be working within the company simulation team supporting multiple vehicle programs.

     

    This role will support the MANUFACTURING optimization process by providing Detailed Moving Line Simulation Support in the plant. This is not a vehicle simulation role. These simulations will help the team visualize critical jobs using IE times and 3D layouts to optimize and identify issues prior to physical builds.

    Qualifications

    Must be able to start work within 2 weeks of accepting an offer.

    Required:
    Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited University or related Bachelor degree with 5 years commensurate experience.
    Experience with TeamCenter Process Simulate is required
    Minimum 2 years work experience in Quality, Engineering, Production, or Manufacturing. 
    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.

    Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
    Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite software.

    Creative problem-solving ability and a results orientation. 

    Preferred:
    Master's degree

    Driving and Travel Requirements: 
    May be required to drive a company car. A valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.  
    May be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
